Blackberry Lemonade is a refreshing summer drink that celebrates the flavors or the season!

Lemonade is one of those staple liquids at my residence this time of year. It’s tart, delicious, and so smooth to make! i'm able to make three to four pitchers of lemonade with one massive bottle of lemon juice for the fee of 1 pre-made lemonade bottle. I mean honestly, who wouldn’t just make it themselves?


Once in a while i like to exchange things up and flavor our lemonade. My youngest adores strawberry lemonade, but his older brother and my husband aren’t strawberry fans. luckily my blackberry obsession reared it’s head and created this pitcher of deliciousness. The combination of blackberry and lemon is certainly one of my all-time taste pairings and this drink does not disappoint! Bonus: the colour is absolutely appropriate!!

Now, if you’ve ever made lemonade at domestic (without the powder), you realize the sugar has a bad addiction of not dissolving in the cold water. You’ve got a few options here. deal with it and stir you lemonade vigorously before pouring. Use warm water to combine your lemonade after which kick back inside the refrigerator.

Or, my private preferred, use simple syrup in preference to sugar to sweeten your lemonade. The sugar is already dissolved and you could add extra of less sweetness based on your flavor choice. Simple Syrup:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
Blackberry Puree:
  • 12 ounces fresh blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice fresh squeezed or from a bottle
  • 8 cups cold water
  • Thinly sliced lemons for garnish (if desired)
