never in a million years did I suppose I’d say that i like love Lemon Bars… however I do!!!

I’ve constantly liked lemonade and lemon hen but lemon desserts and pastries have been by no means tough for me to skip up. however, some years in the past I finally gave lemon a 2d threat and become pleasantly amazed to discover how deliciously amazing it's miles in things like cheesecake, cupcakes, and these bars.

The Buttery Crust
What makes those so excellent? First, that crumbly buttery shortbread crust. And please don’t replacement the butter with margarine or shortening. Butter is first-class and makes the whole lot 983x better.

EASY LEMON BARS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
For the Crust:
  • 10 tablespoons butter , room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Filling:
  • 3 large eggs , room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
For the Crust:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 levels F and gently grease a 9x9 inch pan.
  2. blend the flour, powdered sugar, and salt collectively. cut the butter into the combination till crumbly after which press into the lowest of the pan.
  3. Bake for 15-18 mins until gently golden. meanwhile, make the filling.
For the Filling:
  1. Whisk all the filling substances together till mixed.
  2. Pour over the cooked crust and area again in the oven for 17-20 mins until filling is ready.
  3. Cool completely, dirt with powdered sugar, cut into squares.
